Welcome to VicadiaTours. As a tour agency operating in Egypt, we believe travel planning should feel exciting—not stressful. While we always look forward to welcoming our guests and helping them enjoy the beauty of Egypt, we understand that plans can sometimes change. Because tour arrangements involve reservations and commitments with hotels, transport providers, and guides, cancellations may result in unavoidable costs. This page explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled fairly and transparently, in line with Egyptian consumer protection regulations, and how we do our best to provide a full refund whenever applicable.

By booking with VicadiaTours, you agree to the terms below.

1. Payment:

  1.1 Accepted Payment Methods:

      We accept the following payment methods:

  • Online payment gate (PayPal)
  • Bank transfer (for selected bookings, upon confirmation)
  • Cash payments (where applicable and confirmed in advance)

      Payment options may vary depending on the tour, service type, or booking date.


  

1.2 Prices & Currency:

  • All prices and payments are made in USD unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices include taxes and service charges depending on the tour details. This will always be clearly communicated before payment.
  • VicadiaTours reserves the right to update prices. Any confirmed and paid bookings will not be affected by future price changes.


  

1.3 Payment Confirmation:

  • To confirm your booking, a 20% advance payment is required. The remaining 80% must be paid no later than one week before the arrival date. Once payment is received, you will receive a booking confirmation via email or WhatsApp.

2. Cancellation & Refund

We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and compliant with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law.  


2.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations:

Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation is made:

  • More than 14 days before the tour date: Full refund, minus any non-recoverable third-party fees (if applicable). 
  • 7–14      days before the tour date: Partial refund (typically 50%), depending on services already booked.
  • Less than 7 days before the tour date: No refund.

Exact cancellation terms may vary for specific tours, hotels, cruises, flights, or customized packages and will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

  

2.2 VicadiaTours-Initiated Cancellations

If VicadiaTours cancels a tour due to operational issues, safety concerns, or force majeure:

  • You will receive a full refund, or
  • You may choose to reschedule or receive credit for future use.

3. Non-Refundable Services

 Unless required by law, refunds cannot be provided for:

  • Tours or services that have already started or been completed.
  • Flights, hotels, or third-party services with strict cancellation policies.
  • Customized or private tours arranged specifically upon your request.
  • No-shows on the tour date.

4. Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted by contacting us at info@vicadiatours.com.
  • Please include your booking reference and reason for cancellation.
  • Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

4.1 Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days.
  • Bank or payment gateway processing times may vary and are outside VicadiaTours’s control.

  

5. Consumer Rights (Egypt)

This policy complies with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, which guarantees customers the right to clear information, fair treatment, and refunds where services are not delivered as agreed.

   

6. Policy Updates 

VicadiaTours may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be
