If you’re short on time but dream of discovering the wonders of ancient Egypt, a 5-day trip to Cairo and Luxor can offer an unforgettable glimpse into its rich history and culture. With a well-organized itinerary, you can explore the most iconic landmarks — from the majestic Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx to the legendary temples of Karnak and Luxor, and the Valley of the Kings.

Of course not — Egypt is vast and packed with history. But in five days, you can experience the essence of this incredible land, walk in the footsteps of pharaohs, and sail the timeless Nile.

- Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative, and then transferred by luxury vehicle to your hotel in Cairo for check-in and overnight stay.


- Our adventure begins on the second day after taking a rest.

Day 2: Cairo-Luxor

 - After breakfast, begin an unforgettable day in Cairo with a visit to the iconic Giza Pyramid Complex, featuring the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure (note: entrance to the Pyramid of Cheops is not included). You'll also explore the panoramic viewpoint and marvel at the Great Sphinx.

- Next, stop at a traditional papyrus factory to learn about the history and production of this ancient writing material, followed by lunch at a local restaurant.

- In the afternoon, head to Memphis, the former capital of Ancient Egypt, to see remarkable sites like the Colossus of Ramses II. Then continue to Saqqara to visit the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser—the oldest pyramid in Egypt.

After this enriching tour of Giza, Memphis, and Saqqara, return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 3: Luxor

- Transfer early to go to Cairo airport. Upon arrival in Luxor, visit the majestic Karnak and Luxor Temples. In the afternoon, take a Felucca boat ride on the Nile in Luxor.

- Lunch at a restaurant in the city, and then continue to your hotel in Luxor.


- Afternoon at leisure to enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the hotel and watch the first sunset in this magical city of Luxor, 

The ancient Thebes.


- In the evening, take the opportunity to explore the charming streets of Luxor or enjoy an optional sound and light show at Karnak Temple, where ancient history comes to life under the stars. This experience offers a captivating introduction to the stories, gods, and pharaohs that once ruled this magnificent land. 

Day 4: Luxor-Cairo

Temple of Hatshepsut

- Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings (three tombs). Visit the temple of Hatshepsut and the Medinet Habu temple of King Ramses III.


- Visit the ruins of the temples of Amenophis III and the Colossi of Memnon.


- Lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor City.


- At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to return to Cairo.

Citadel of Saladin

- Full day Cairo city tour, including visit to old Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Alabaster Mosque, Coptic Quarter, Church of St. Sergius tour of the Medieval Quarter of Khan el Khalili.


-  Lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo city.


- (Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.)
